To bring Atmos Sphaera to life, I brought together the disciplines of character design, illustration, branding, 2D animation rigging, motion capture animation, and live streaming. Inspired by the techno-optimism of the early 2000s, Atmos’s visual identity uses motifs such as flat pop art and character design conventions from anime that seek to bridge a love for things passed to a bright future. These design choices draw on inspirations both meaningful to me and trendy in the contemporary art and design space.

The name “Atmos Sphaera,” drawing on the word atmosphere, brings forth a light-hearted, airy interpretation of space, ready to embrace earth and its wonders.
